Detroit Horse Power annual report 2020
Details
Partnered with Detroit Horse Power (DHP), which helps urban youth gain critical life skills through riding and caring for horses. Developed several cover options using client's suggested titles, and DHP photos and colors; because this was DHP's first annual report and there were no established design standards, also explored a range of look-and-feel possibilites among the covers. Completed piece balances clean text layout with "messy" design elements and backgrounds, with the goal of meshing DHP's urban roots with its "rural Detroit" barn locations.
