Connecting Champions annual report 2019

Details

Partnered with Connecting Champions, which asks child cancer patients "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and matches them with adult mentors. Per client's request, initial front cover options integrated four brand colors (blue, green, yellow, and gray) and three brand fonts. Project was originally planned as one annual report book; client ultimately chose to split content between a compact annual report, and an in-depth general information book with a longer "shelf life." (Also designed coordinating postcard templates, not shown, for client to edit.) Books' matching elements include curved side photos, color-coded sections, round-edged feature boxes, and rainbow-corkboard themed "Meet our kids" pages. Overall visual goal was to present clean, professional layouts to underscore the importance of the topic, while integrating playful elements that show the hopefulness of life beyond childhood cancer.
